He is an Italian entrepreneur and company manager. He holds a Master of Law from Nevada University. He practiced at the Schwal Thompson & Block law firm in New York and subsequently at the family company Gestim SpA Real Estate, alongside his uncle Guido Angelo Terruzzi with the role of representative and contact person for the Terruzzi family, at all companies, both listed or not, then held by the group. Since the 1980s he has held both institutional (Assofermet, Federacciai) and entrepreneurial roles in various sectors ranging from steelmaking (Nichelcrom, Stainless Steel Service Centre) to energy (Global Engineering) to the environment (12 proprietary patents on photocatalysis, and Board of Directors Waste Management) to telecommunications, insurance brokerage (Italbrokers spa), large-scale retail trade (Rinascente, Morassutti).
He is an executive member of the Word Solar Foundation. He has a significant sporting past as a motorcycle rider (Three Paris Dakar).
